What is Mediation?

|

Mediation is where a neutral third-party acts as a facilitator to help you and the other party communicate and reach an agreement as to any issues or controversy. Usually, your attorney will be present with you during the process to help answer any questions while the other party is in a separate room. The mediator will go between parties to discuss the issues. Mediation can eliminate some costs of the case by shortening the process if you are able to resolve any of your issues.
